Born Kingston-upon Thames UK emigrated to Australia 1964 lived in Cairns till 1976.  Went to Africa, and spent 10 months working and painting in the Krueger National Park, South Africa, where they bought several of my pen and ink drawings, which they produced in print, and sold throughout the Park.

I had several successful exhibitions, in Johannesburg and Salisbury (now Harare).  Arrived back in the UK 1982, where I had three more exhibitions with my African animals and horses.  I attracted the attention of a large printing company called Dray co Print Consultants; they took 12 of my horse paintings, and turned them into cards and framed pictures. Two of these paintings featured on Coronation St,  UK Television.

In 1997 I studied for a National Higher Diploma in ceramics and glass at Plymouth University UK.  I sold many of my sculptures to the U.S.A. and private collections in the UK and Saudi Arabia.

I returned to Cairns Australia, 1999 joined the local art society.  I won the Champion Art award at the 2000 Cairns Show, and top sculpture award at the Mareeba Art Society Show 2000 2001 and 2002. I have had two very successful exhibitions at Paradise Palms. I also won a sculpture award at the Cairns Art Society annual exhibition 2002. Won the sculpture award at Mareeba Art Society 2003, first in the Painting Category Cairns Show 2003.
Cairns Show 1st prize winner 2005, Highly Commended Cairns Art Society 2005.
Won major art prize Cairns Show 2006. won sculpture award Mareeba 2006. Peoples choice award Port Douglas 2006.

I have BA degree, ( Major Archaeology) James Cook University. I also teach sculpture, mostly ethnic style pieces, or mythical creatures, nearly all my students enjoy making something a little different.

I was one of five artists to successfully complete in December 2003 a 16-metre mosaic path for the Esplanade project in Cairns. 
I had a successful Exhibition at ‘Gallery 53’ Cairns. 2004
And a combined exhibition with Ludij Peden ‘Fair Dinkum Outback’ Longreach Qld with workshops 2004.
Successful Joint Exhibition with Ron Edwards called ‘One Hundred Horses’ Cairns 2005.

I have reached stage three of the Banyan  Park project Tully North Queensland, this project will be in concrete fondue, depicting the early sugar industry. The sculptures will be of two life-size Clydesdale horses, one pulling a cane bin, the other pulling a plough, and two men.
